Last night I was getting ready to go to a party (at 9:30pm and the party started at 8:00pm...), and my moped just wouldn't work. The right pedal was totally screwed up, and I couldn't get it to start reliably. So instead of going out I spent most of the evening and this afternoon fixing things. I used epoxy to put the pedal back on the crank (though it's a little crooked... oh well) and sat around waiting for it to set. I cleaned the carb but developed a pretty serious gas leak that I didn't figure out how to fix until today. I'm pissed that I missed the party and didn't go to the farmer's market today, but this stuff had to get done.

Now I'm running a smaller main jet and it no longer feels like it's choking on gas, which is good. The top speed is still lower that I'd like, so maybe tomorrow I'll try drilling a couple of holes in the airbox and upjetting...
