So yeah, it's been a busy few days. My job went down to half time last week, which is annoying but necessary. My second part-time job may or may not be screwed up, there's still a great deal of confusion regarding it. Hopefully it will all be straightened out soon...
On Wedesnday I went up to Victoria, BC to hang out with my brother and go see KMFDM. I wanted to get the 8pm ferry (so I'd be over at 9:35pm), but they didn't do one. So I ended up taking the next ferry at 9pm. My brother picked me up around 10:45 and we sped off to the show. Unfortunately it turns out he forgot his ID and they wouldn't let him in without it. He ran home to get it, and walked in the door about 20 seconds into KMFDM's first song.
The show was in a smallish venue called "Sugar" in the downtownish area of Victoria. The stage was actually lower than most of the place, and it had a small dance flloor in front of it that quickly turning into a writhing mass of humanity. We hung out on the edge of this by a small set of stairs and had a great view of the whole show.
It kicked so much ass.
