I won a 4gig ipod nano today. It's completely hilarious.

The irony is overwhelming. But yeah, it is a super tiny device, pretty neat. :)

Dude how did you win that? Welcome to the Nanorevolution!

They held a random drawing at the opening of the Electrical Engineering Students' Center today. All EE students who attended got a ticket, and the ipod was the prize. :D

Yeah, I'm anti-apple, though I'm certainly not going to turn down a free ipod.

I'll be using it, it's going to replace my very old and mostly broken 5gig original ipod (which I also got for free :D ).

If the damn thing's battery charges anyway... I charged it overnight and I still can't use it. Maybe I got a dud.

My apple karma has bitten me though, the new ipod doesn't work! I charged it all night and it still wont "boot" unless it's plugged into the wall charger.

I'll be taking it back (for a new, non-broken one) after my classes today.

Re: give me that pod love

Yeah, I contributed a few bucks for it. :D

It's a neat little device. The tiny touch wheel is going to take some getting used to, but the much-upgraded UI is actually pretty nice.

Ironic that you contributed and now you got one. Woo Hoo. We can start a Nano branch of the Fleet.

Re: give me that pod love

yeah, right as my old 1st generation brick ipod was about to completely die too.

A nano branch of the fleet... would that be like the TFRmy? ;D

Looks like I've got a line on a bravo back wheel / variator / front clutch setup from one of the One Screw Loose guys. That should be awesome.
