Number of pewter bars rolled into sheet last night: 3
Number of blanks made from said sheets: 43
Number of good strikes from said blanks: 31
Number of bars that will be rolled into tonight: 3 or 4
Number of tiny nicks that probably only a moneyer would notice put into the die face: 1
So yeah. Die clash happens, and it sucks. Unfortunately there's really not much you can do about it. The vast majority of people who look at the coins probably wont notice anything at all - the nick looks almost intentional and is pretty small.
At this rate I'll definitely be striking at Acorn War.
