I turned in a fifty-six page lab report today.

Our TA's comment was "woah dude, that's longer than my master's thesis was."

I feel like there should be some art of divination for reading the future in the entrails of lab reports.

I have a feeling this one would say, "signs point to graduate school."

You're a few days closer to being able to normal life. Hey, a few months minus a few days is closer.

holy crap! I don't even want to know what kind of lab produces a 56 page report to follow.

Well, ok I kind of do...just out of sick curiosity...

Well, here's the purposefully vague assignment (http://ee.washington.edu/class/478/assignments/lab2/lab2Autumn06.pdf), if you're interested.

The basic idea is that we had three microcontrollers (baby CPUs) connected together in a custom network that we built from scratch (well, from logic gates, not transistors ;) ).

"which would explain perhaps why hes' still a TA? ;)"

Nah, he's quite good. And EE theses almost never include code, which was a fair chunk of our report. :)

Thanks! Now to work on the final project...

Perhaps. My part of the report probably would, but I doubt the same is true for the parts my groupmates worked on.

Obviously, that's why you have to disembowl them first, otherwise you'll get a bad reading off the spleen when you're trying to read something from the heart or the lungs.

I wonder what the spleen of a lab report looks like? I feel strongly that this should be a component for a spell.
