The chaos and insanity of last quarter and the holidays is finally past. I've spent quite a lot of time over the past week catching up on sleep, and attending to things that were neglected for the past three and a half months.
One of those things was beer. Today I racked five gallons of pumpkin ale and bottled five gallons of Scottish ale. The pumpkin ale is for a trade, but the Scottish ale should be available at Twelfth Night, though it might not be very carbonated yet (in-bottle fermentation can be slow). If you are reading this you are welcome to track me down and try it. :) It ended up being 5% ABV.
Tomorrow will be largely consumed with moneying. I have a little pile of rolled strip to punch blanks from, and need to roll at least 5 more ingots worth. Possibly more, it depends on how many blanks we get out of the sheet that is already done. However, we'll be striking on site! That should be lots of fun.
