Well, it looks like I'll be hanging out with Tim and probably some others on my birthday. How bizarre. It's been about five years since I celebrated my birthday. Well, at least I don't have to celebrate thanksgiving, two holiday-esque things in a week is just too much.
Feh, I don't like this sort of thing =P
I didn't mention this before, but I read Yevgeny Zamyatin's We a while ago. It's a pretty good "dystopia", and apparently Orwell relied rather heavily on his work, at least in the beginning of his writing. I have a translation of course, but it's one of those books that makes me wish I could read Russian. Perhaps I'll have to remedy that one of these days...
I got an A on my second exam in my Vikings class, yay. I hope the professor likes my paper. I'm pretty rusty when it comes to writing papers. Anything over two pages or so and my thoughts tend to wander too much; I'm pretty proud of my essay writing skills though. Oh well, it'll probably all work out.
