What a weekend. I went down and worked on the fort on Saturday some more, we had at least 5 times the number of people than last weekend, even a few from Chicago! We got a ton of stuff done, both small inner towers are up, and the ground is almost entirely seeded. When I left they were just finishing up one tower, and only had the gate left to make. It's going to be so much fun to play on! Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera with me, but I might be able to get photos scanned from some other people. We shall see.
I took a number of wrong turns on the way to the site (this was my first time driving there from Cleveland), so I was a bit late. That compounded with the fact that I slept in anyway... Ahh well. I think we got enough hours in for a Cleftlands group shield, which would be very cool.
I bought some RAM for my laptop, which turned out to be amusing since the shipping costs were almost as much as the price of the RAM. I want to go buy the components for my new computer, but am not going to be able to do so until next week. This actually works out in my favour, since prices will drop by then with the release of the new Pentium-4 1.8 GHz. At least, that's the plan.
Ursula and I are going over to Marie & Grace's place toinght to do some sewing and have dinner. Should be a lot of fun, and I'll finally get to use up some fabric.
