Fixed the whole time difference thing, my clock was set wrong =P Hooray for obliviousness.
It has cooled down here a bit, which is nice, I like not having to run the air conditioner to get to sleep. I hope it's cool this weekend, we're going to an event, so yeah.
My job was posted last Friday, and I immediately applied for it. So far my boss has received two other applicants, so it will not be as easy as we were hoping. Even though I'm the "strong internal candidate", I've been doing the job for six months as a temp, my boss still has to treat them all fairly and such... sigh.
I want to get hired, dammit.
The benefits package is quite nice, though. Health insurance, yay.
Other things... we had a practice at Sir Will's place on Friday with a bunch of Darkyard people. It was a lot of fun, I wish that more of them would come to our fighter practices, the more the merrier. We did some amusing drills that we put into our weekly practice last night, I think they'll help.
Ursula and I are making pasta salad tonight, it's all right, but I think she likes it much more than I do. I want to make more Indian curry =P
Hmm, what's going on in my life... I'm getting together with Sir Alaric tomorrow night to do some sewing, should be fun, and helpful as I am in desperate need of garb. I'm also going to head over to Steve's on Monday night to do armour, and maybe on Tuesday to do more sewing. We shall see.
I haven't updated my website yet, are you surprised? I have some photos from practice this weekend, which will go up at some point as well. I have all ready downloaded them to my computer, so there isn't much keeping me from putting them on the page.
