Turns out that the highly irritating, random rebooting problem I was having with my machine at home was due to the video card drivers. Irritating, since the version I was using was "officially tested" and WHQL certified. The one's I'm using now are beta drivers, and they're so much better. Even DAoC looks much better with these drivers. Before, the textures were excessively dithered, and just looked like crap. But now it's much prettier, which is definetly good.

I went to a reading / booksigning on Friday with Marie, Grace, and Mark. I picked up a couple of books, got them signed, and generally had a good time. This occured in the middle of a "IS support people"'s night out, that I was a part of. We hung out at The Winking Lizard, which has quite a decent foreign beer selection, and went out for coffee later on. It was fun, and I got to spend time with Marie, which is neat since I don't see her much anymore since she works the night shift, and I haven't been going to many SCA meetings. Now that my class is finished though, I'll be able to do more SCA activities. The course I'm taking next semester is likely going to be a bit easier, so that'll help too.

I'm going to a xmas party next week, and I haven't aquired a present yet, eep. I have a good idea of what I want to get this person, and will have to do some shopping online tomorrow.

I don't even want to think about presents for everyone else. Ugh, holidays suck.

There's nothing quite like having freshly trimmed an organized bookmarks, ahh.

I'm on three hours of sleep now, for no good reason, really. Silly me.

This is impressive. 16 hours of *anything* is enough to grate one's mind. Spending it in a Home Depot only makes it worse.

I do like the idea of keeping a random journal like that though, it's amusing to see how his thought processes progressively break down throughout the piece. I hope it's real.
