(no subject)

Well, my sword was not lost. This is good.

My parents and I went and saw "The Minority Report" on Friday. It was rather good, actually.

We also went to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire on Saturday. That was... interesting. Many people were wearing quite silly costumes, including one man who had gray shag carpet wrapped around his boots. People baffle me.

I got a great deal on some linen at Joann's too. 7.5 yards of black 100% linen for $25 (yay 75% off sales!). I also got a little bit of a burgundy linen/cotton blend that looks very nice.

The Cleveland Museum of Art has a very cool exhibit going on right now called "Enter the Light." I spent about hald an hour in one room where they were presenting a piece called "Line describing a cone". Basically it's a film of a white line very slowly being drawn into a circle against a black wall in a dark room with a smoke machine. It creates a cone of light that you can examine from any angle... Much fun indeed.

My parents started the long drive back to Oregon this morning, hopefully they wont have to worry about tornado warnings again.
