First a silly quiz...

What fantasy movie are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

Ursula got the Lord of the Rings when she took this quiz, tee hee.

So yeah, I'm safely in Philadelphia. The drive here was not all that bad, though there was a fair amount of snow in the Allegheny "mountains." My car is now thoroughly coated in salt. It did, however, start just fine today, so wherever the current draw is in the electical system it is a slow one...

We made ice-cream turkeys last night, and several of the people (including [livejournal.com profile] franzeska) violated the tradition and made non-standard turkeys. In any case, it was amusing as usual. Many of the cookies were broken in the bag, alas.

For the rest of the weekend: lots of reading, some work, and going out for food. Come Sunday: another ~8 hour drive. I'm very glad that I have my Rio Volt for trips like this. Yay not having to shuffle with CDs or tapes while driving, and not listening to the same 15 songs over and over again.

Oh, and I successfully avoided seeing any turkey carcasses. Yay.

Yay, more people on my friends list to torment. Bwhahahaha, hahaha, ha ha. ha.

Yeah.

Lots of random thoughts that I feel like posting:

I've done two out of six problems for my circuits homework that's due Wednesday. Yay, not procrastinating.

Escape from Monkey Island is far inferior to Curse of Monkey Island. Curse is far funnier, and has MURRAY! Murray is great.

I made a CD of random stuff for Ursula, mostly of the CD of mp3s I made for this trip... which is comprised of stuff I listened to heavily in high school. Odd.

Hmm, I'm almost done with Faith and Treason, a nifty book about the 1605 plot to blow up Parliament (Guy Fawkes and all that). Lost of catholics getting horribly tortured and such. Next I shall be reading Cryptonomicon, which Ursula got my for my birthday. I've been meaning to read it more or less since it came out, but obviously haven't done so yet. I need more fiction books. Any recommendations?
