I have a ton of site tokens. Over the years I have kept many of them, though most in the "beads on a string" category end up not being saved.
( My box o' tokens )
As time passes, I forget which events were associated with various tokens, even some of the really cool ones. I've been thinking that a sort of online catalogue of site tokens, perhaps driven with a wiki, would be a good way to ensure I don't forget forever. I've done some web searching, and it appears that such a thing does not already exist. There are pages with pictures of tokens various people have made, and sites with pictures of tokens from big events (Pennsic, Gulf Wars, etc), but nothing with a particularly broad scope.
So, oh readers, to you I pose this question:
If I created an online catalogue of site tokens that anyone could edit, would you use it? Do you think you would contribute to it?
