Our home DSL is finally back. Looks like the old modem bit the dust. That's two modems in 2.5 years, which averages out to a slight gain for us since we rent them. Now I get to set up the routing table all over again, whee.
Future project: use a real firewall for this sort of thing, and leave as little configuration on the modem as possible.
In other news, today was the first day of winter quarter. I'm taking:
TC333 - Advanced Technical Writing and Oral Presentation
EE332 - Devices and Circuits II (BJTs, small signal model)
EE361 - Applied Electromagnetics
Quote of the day:
"It is by mathematics alone that we engineers are able to rise above the endless fuzzy debating of the liberal arts."
