The BMV adventure went largely sour, I have to go back next week, hopefully that'll be the last time. There's only one agency that's open on the weekends here, Saturday 10-2, and it's always packed, not to mention that it's about a 30 minute drive from my place. It's so silly.

I got a reply from my high-school friend, she's getting married. That's at least two so far (one of whom has a baby EGADS!). I'm having a hard time enjoying my early twenties with all this heavy responsibilty being thrown around. People my age, my friends even, getting married and having kids. Yikes.

I stayed up all of last night reading Lois McMaster Bujold's book Barrayar. It was quite good, but I am starting to regret finishing it at 6:40 AM. Oh well, I will sleep tonight, and I think I'm sufficiently caffeinated.

It's been snowing here on and off for the past few days, and we had a real two inches of snow on the ground this morning as I made my way to work. However, someone decided that they'd plow all of the walkways, but not salt them, so most of the sidewalks were sheets of ice. I'd rather they leave the snow there, at least then you can get some traction...

The omnipresent salt is getting to be rather depressing. I was walking to pay my rent the other night, and a rock of salt from a passing truck flew out and hit my cheek. For some reason I thought this was sort of profound, and it kept me amused for quite a while. Very strange.
