So I have this old Sparcstation 2 running RedHat 6.2. For the longest time rhn_register would crash partway through the registration process. I fiddled with it a while ago, but couldn't get past this bizarre bug in one of the required packages. Anyway, they recently released new packages for rhn_register and some other programs, and I finally got around to installing them. Lo and behold, after rebuilding the rpm database and installing the GPG key, it works!

Yay updated packages.

Also of note: holy crap sparc 2s are slow.
