I finished reading Children of Dune last night, the third book in the 6 book Dune series. It sucked. Really badly. This is only the second time I've read it, and now I remember why. Yuck.
Don't get me wrong, I really love the first book, and Dune Messiah isn't too bad either. However, most of the others are just painful . God Emperor of Dune has it's moments, but it's sitll vastly inferior compared to the first book.
I also beat Jedi Knight II today, whew. It was an amusing game, though some of the level design irritated me. Still, being able to command an AT-ST was totally sweet, and there's nothing like voiding a hanger full of stormtroopers into open space. Tee-hee.
