I did a few errands yesterday on my moped, and had several things go wrong:
1) The airbox fell off.
2) The exhaust came loose.
3) The airbox fell off again.
4) The right pedal crank appears to be failing in the same way the left one did right after I got it.
The first three aren't terribly surprising, it happens. The last one is very annoying, since I'll probably have to order a new crank and pedal from the manufacturer (if they're both stripped). Since I've caught it early I may be able to epoxy it in, but I suspect the hole where the pedal threads into the crank is rusting out and that'll just be a temporary fix.
Something's up with the performance too, I might just need to clean the carburetor. That's a fairly annoying enterprise though, I have a hard time getting the throttle mechanism off since I lack a tiny flatheat screwdriver. I don't know, I'm doubting my jetting now too since I've had those problems with the airbox... blug.
