Well, I didn't make it to moped monday last night, but I did spend a few hours working on my 'ped.
Things I Got Done:
The turn signals project started as me wanting to attach the second ammo can. However the drill bit I was using decided it was time to call it quits, and barely scratched anything I used it on. So, I took the lid off of the ammo can I have on now, drilled a bunch of smaller holes in it and mounted one of my turn signals on it. I put the original mounting hardware back on the left side temporarily, until I get a new drill bit and can attach the other ammo can.
The exhaust is a little wobbly, and I'm wondering how well sealed the connection between it and the exhaust port really is. The bolt that holds it on is already quite tight, and I don't want to tighten it more in case I strip it.
Things I Got Done:
- Replaced the rocks that were holding my airbox on with some foam. The glue didn't stick to the plastic of the airbox though.
- Played around with the angle of the seat. What I really want to do is move it forward half an inch.
- Put my turn signals back on, haphazardly.
