I've been meaning to post for... a week or so. However, I've been to damn tired to do it. So as a result I'm going to blather on about things that you may or may not be interested in.
moped stuff
Went to Moped Monday last week. It ruled as always. My license plate bracket totally shattered when I went over a pothole, yay cheap kinetic plastic. I seem to have fixed the airbox though, through brute-force use of duct tape, milk jug plastic, and foam.
But yeah, we had a good ride over to the U District and down ravenna, which can be overly exciting with all of the tight turns and cars parked on the side of the road. We had at least one breakdown, and I left the ride fairly early since I was fading fast.
school stuff
So this is my first quarter back as a full time student in four and a half years. I'm taking 13 credits; two EE classes and a technical writing class. One of my EE classes (331) is an astonishing amount of work. 12-14+ hour days on campus are not uncommon. 331 is also at 8:30 AM four days a week. Ugh.
And alas, it looks like I have stuff due Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday every day this quarter, and will have lots of monday night lectures. I see very little Moped Mondaying for me until after finals (June). Damn it.
work stuff
Work continues on as usual, though I may have to cut down on my hours a bit if this insanity continues. I just can't take it. I'm currently working 19.5 hours, and I'm thinking more like 12. The loss of money would suck, but my budget can deal with that now.
weekend stuff
I went down to Eugene, OR this weekend and did some wine tasting with Jeremy & co. It was nice to see everyone, but I really should have done more work, especially on my 331 homework. It is due tomorrow, and I will get it done, but I might not sleep tonight. This wouldn't be a huge deal except I'm going to have to spend 6 hours or so after work tomorrow in the lab doing a writeup. I'd really like to be functional for that.

I am really enjoying being a student again. It is a ton of work, but I expected that and learning this much is really satisfying. Apparently things are going to calm down a bit in 331 over the next few weeks, until we start doing final projects when they'll be crazy again. :D
