Watched the sci-fi channel Dune mini-series the other night. Of course, they fucked it up. I'm seriously considering writing a webpage about the problems with this version. I mean hell, the 80's movie was better. That says quite a bit.
The characterization is all wrong, they just don't develop right. The various groups are so similar that they seem to blend together. Very few of the important little details from the text are included in the mini-series, and a large number of those that are screwed up.
Sigh.
I'd do this tonight, but I really need to study for my exam tomorrow.
