You beat me. Can't say I've read anything below number 8. And saying I've read Dune is kinda lying - I've read the first two chapters, a couple times. Never was able to get into that book.

And I own American Gods and I had to read Snowcrash for a class... but no. not read. C'est la guerre.

Match on all those except Neal Stephenson...it's not that I haven't tried, really. He just makes me weep bloody tears of boredom within five seconds flat.

Plus, I've also read Watchmen (in one sitting, god forbid. I'm amazed I didn't immediately thereafter slit my wrists.) And I've read Trouble with Lichen. I'd thought it was terribly obscure for some reason, so I'm sort of surprised it made the list. I stumbled on in a used bookstore fairly recently and made off with it on a whim, because the name was too delicious to pass up.

I have not read:

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Microserfs, Watchmen, Consider Phlebas, The Man in the Hight Castle, American Gods, The Illuminatus! Trilogy, Trouble with Lichen. Hmmm. Do I have a new reading list? I have even analyzed multiple titles on this list in an honors course on sci-fi - eek!
