I was wondering if you and your truck might be willing to help me take a few large pieces of furniture to the Goodwill in downtown either tonight or tomorrow night -- I want to donate them but don't have a way of getting there. In exchange for your assistance, I'd give you cash equivalent to a full tank of gas at today's prices. :)
Let me know if you'd be willing to help. It would probably involve ~4 trips back and forth between Cap Hill and SoDo.
Thank you!

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but tonight obviously wont work - I had previous plans. The rest of this week is pretty much shot due to my final project being due on Friday, but I do have time this weekend. I will be building an antenna for my *other* final project this weekend, but should easily be able to squeeze in a couple of hours if you are free. If you're available, I'll let you know the inner details of my schedule once the weekend plans coalesce.
Next week, Monday night or Tuesday would also work; I'm mostly free until my finals on Wednesday and Thursday.
I'm more than willing to help when I can, but don't worry about the cash... Just buy me a beer sometime. :)

Fortunately, the Salvation Army claims to be able to pick stuff up tomorrow, but they may not take all of my stuff, so I may have to find some way to take it to the dump on 3rd in SoDo. We shall see.
I appreciate your willingness, though. :)
