I have funding for winter quarter! I just accepted a TAship for Bio Engineering 201 - a 2-credit lab class that focuses on teaching students how to use simple circuits, use lab equipment, and take data. Should be fun. :)

Congrats! I think I saw the TA announcement for that course and I'm glad you got it :-) Does it have more than one section and thus make a full time appointment or will you be allowed to also work a job?

I'll be doing between two and three sections a week (two one week, three the next, etc), supposely 20 hours per week. I'm not sure if it's officially a full time or half time appointment... I did the interview after an all-nighter and many of the details didn't stick in my head. ;) But yeah, I'll be asking those questions this week when I fill out the paperwork.
