Gatwick Airport, London. The departures terminal is much like a small mall, except that instead of trendy clothing stores there are duty free shops selling all sorts of vices. There's even a place called "world of whisky" - which gives free tastings. Not of the super expensive stuff, but still. And yes, I fell victim to their charms!

Soon I fly off to Vancouver, via exciting Winnipeg again. Then tomorrow a bus to Seattle! Alas, I have to run from the bus station to campus for a meeting, which I'm not too happy about.

Oh well. Istanbul was awesome. More later.
