Work: Busy busy busy. I'm basically doing two projects right now that are closely related, and I'm having some difficulty keeping everything separate in my head. Our results look promising, but there's just so much more to do before we can publish...
SCA: Lionhearts was fun, though I didn't plan adequately for allergies. An-Tir West war was awesome. Got to hang out with thoroughly neat Westie moneyers and work on stuff all weekend. Spending time with Jeremy and Lauren again was really nice as well, even on the looong drive back up to Seattle. I need to get my butt in gear and finish the royal presentation piece die by next weekend.
Weather: Looks like our horrible three-day heat wave is over! I hope the temperature remains reasonable (below 80F ;) ) for the rest of the summer. Honestly, I think the week in Istanbul broke me in - I didn't mind the heat this year nearly as much as I have in previous years.
Vehicles: Got new tabs for my truck and moped yesterday. I also have a second moped now! I picked up a 1981 Peugeot 102 sp, which is currently in many pieces. I've ordered various parts for it, but still need to figure out exactly what I need for the rear wheel... I very much want to have it running by the blood drive (first weekend in August).
