"Effective July 30, 2007, the filing fee for this application (US citizenship) will increase to $675, including biometrics. Applications postmarked on or after July 30 must be accompanied by the new fee amount."
The 30th. Not the end of the month, not August 1st. July 30th. AKA, Monday. To meet the deadline for the "old" price ($330 + ~$70 biometric fee), I would have had to mail my stuff out today.
Grr.
Oh well, there is always the possibility that I'll be able to get the biometric fee waived, since I just renewed my green card in October.
