What a crappy day. Lots of grumpy people in the lab today, including me. It didn't help that I was there for over 12 hours. Again.

Lots of bad moped luck today. The Kinetic is acting like a little jerk. Today:

LED taillight bulb fell apart
Taillight lens flew off at 25 mph (separate incident, thankfully it didn’t shatter when it hit the ground)
Headlight bulb died
Ran out of gas at pacific & northlake and had to push my bike up the hill to one of the stations at 45th.

And it's still not running all that great. It has tons of power and great acceleration up to about 30mph... and then it just sits there, barely making it to 35 (on the flat). Once I get the Peugeot running maybe I'll tear down and clean the Kinetic engine. There's plenty of carbon on the piston head, and I'd bet the exhaust could use some time on the BBQ.

Sigh... another night home after dark with no energy. The Peugeot calls to me! Tomorrow morning before work I'll at least try the latest idea for splitting the crank case...

Rachel, Ari, and I were at Gasworks and ran into the rest of the fleet. :-) Pity about running out of gas.
