Someone smashed the driver's side quarter panel window on my truck last night. Looks like I can pay ~$600 to have a new window put in, or ~$60 to buy a used window an hour away, plus $85 to install it.

Yeah, I was surprised. Apparently the guy above us had his window smashed in about 5 months ago too.

Looks like they took the multi-tool (leatherman knock-off,) but that was about the only thing they could take.

Speaking of window smashers, my door lock hasn't worked right since mine was fixed and I was wondering if I could take advantage of your car knowledge sometime to see about taking the panel off and fiddling with it.

So sorry about your truck! Do you have a junk yard you can go to locally to try and find a quarter panel cheap? (I don't know if it's the same out there but around here you can go to a junk yard and pay $5 for whatever car part you want to take off a junk car.)

And the wedding photos! OMG! So beautiful! Everything is lovely. I adore Ursula's dress and her bridesmaid's dress. And you look so happy. *sigh* I so wish I could have been there - but our Grand UK Adventure had already been paid for...
