Installed Windows XP on my home system last night, things seem to be running better now. I avoided doing an "upgrade" and installed it in a quasi-dual boot fashion. At some point I'm going to want to so a real wipe and reinstall, but that can wait until the semester is over.

Yesterday was my birthday, and it was a fairly rotten day. Oh well.

Still don't have my car, grr.

Wuthering Heights was annoying enough as a book, but I never thought thaty someone would make an RPG...

So yeah. I talked to the mechanic at lunch today, and he said that they found one problem with the automatic seat-belt motors on my car, and that they're probably draining the battery. I told him to go ahead and fix it, and gave a better description of the freaky problem with the door locks (they twitch back and forth nearly constantly). Hopefully they can solve that problem too. Current total: ~$280.

I swear, I need a few open weekends of good weather with a repair manual for my car and some tools. Then I could fix annoying problems like this myself.
