Hmm, yeah, so I checked out that article. More importantly, I checked out the site that the article is on. So this guy is sick of advertising and marketing, huh? Too bad that most of his customers would need half the things he comments on to even realize that he has a business, not to mention personally depending on those things to support what he does for a living. Sounds like some bitter, angry, "my technology is better than yours is and I'm smarter and more self-righteous than you too" type of guy. Sorry Brian, I just don't buy it.
On a side-note though - I completely agree with his comments on eCulture and those stupid, god forsaken pop-up adds. jeez.
Yeah, while I don't agree with the entire article, I thought it was rather interesting. I really hate being pummeled with advertising, it's one of the reasons I don't watch television. Telemarketing drives me utterly insane... That sort of thing. If I desire a product, I'll do some research and seek it out. Ahh well.
