My armour is mostly clean now, I need to get some sandpaper and wax to keep it up though... sporadic cleaning is irritating, if I took care of it better I wouldn't have these problems...
Fixed my shield too, we'll see how long it lasts. Knowing my luck it'll break during my first battle this weekend. Whee.
Ursula's been playing Curse o' Monkey island lately, it's amusing even to watch, but I seriously want to give everything away... I have to concetrate on whatever else I'm doing just to avoid saying "no, click *there*."
Northern Oaken War Maneuvers is this weekend, I hope the weather is better than advertised. They've been promising us thunderstorms for over a week, and I havent' seen any here... And it hasn't really rained here either, methinks the weather guys aren't really sure what's going on.
Oh well.
The home networking project goes ever onward, new drivers for my DSL modem promise win2k support, but I'm not too convinced. These ones do apparently fix the other problems I've been encountering (mostly with Internet Connection Sharing), so I'm going to rip out all of the networking drivers and software and do it again. If it goes smoothly, we'll be done tonight. However, nothing about this process has been smooth, so I don't expect much.
Life wise... things seem to be going all right, I think Ursula's getting a bit annoyed at my level of activity in the SCA, which is rather ironic since she more or less got me involved in the first place.
Sigh.
My apartment is a much nicer place to live in now with all the new furniture and such, and the food is better (even though I have done most of the cooking so far), but there is a low level of tension about... I think it will dissipate when we are settled and such, but alas, she's only here for until August, so it will be fleeting. Then we get to play the long-distance relationship game again.
Once again, sigh.
It's better than anything else, though, so I ought to be happy.
Shrug, I'll probably be bouncing off of the walls in a few hours anyway. Manic, manic, manic...
