So yeah. I had LASIK yesterday afternoon. The drive down from the clinic where I had my surgery done was slightly annoying due to excessively dry eyes.

Anyway, it's been about 22 hours since I was zapped, and I feel great. I have a scratch on my right cornea which will take a few days to heal. Other than that, I have nearly perfect vision. It's really incredible. The first hour or so after the surgery sucked, but I took a sleeping pill, and 5 hours later I felt infinitely better. This morning even more so.

If your vision is as bad as mine was (-6 left, -7.25 right), I highly recommend it.

I'm really damn close to your left eye in both eyes, with some astigmatism in my right as well. But my eyes have been steadily changing for several years, going down about a quarter point per year. Do your eyes have to have reached a stable point for a certain amount of time to be able to have LASIK?

i have a little astygmatism in my right eye and some farsightedness in both eyes. i finally got my glasses fixed so i can see through them and a sample Acuevue TORIC is on its way to me. I should have it soon. so, i'm going to take advantage of a FINALLY correct lens prescription and then think about LASIK.
