The CWRU film society is showing a bundle of pure evil this coming weekend. Some Harry Potter flick, and the 1967 film adaptation of the Lerner and Loewe musical Camelot.

They ought to have at least spread out the worst films over the semester, instead of concentrating them into one weekend... especially this close to finals.

Camelot?

What's wrong with the Camelot pic? I'd think that since it portrays pain, suffering and general malaise with happiness, you'd like it.

Besides, you know you want to be Harry Potter....

So who would win? Harry Potter or Anakin Skywalker?

Re: Camelot?

Yeah, there's some nice pain and suffering in Camelot, but it's all very silly.

I've tried very hard to keep myself distanced from the pop-culture phenomenon that is Harry Potter... alas, my efforts have been subverted by several people. Anyway, I still am blissfully unaware of the vast majority of the "plot." Anakin is far worse, though. Harry Potter is just irritating, while the new Star Wars movies tore to shreds my primary childhood obsession. =P

I'd bet on Anakin. Harry Potter would start waving that wand of his, and Anakin would twinkle his fingers and be like "you won't wave that wand at me". :)
