Since I am not a sane human being, and I am finished with my classes, I decided late Friday night to visit my girlfriend in Philadelphia - roughly 7.5 hours away by car.
Saturday
Slept through my 9:00 AM alarm as I usually do on the weekends. Since I hadn't actually slept very much at all Wednesday or Thursday night, this wasn't particularly surprising. So I surfaced around 1:00, had a shower and threw together some food and clothing for the weekend. Around 3:00 I started driving to Philadelphia, but ended up turning around after 20 minutes when I realized I left my presents for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ursule at my apartment (I still forgot one... ahh well). I got to Philadelphia shortly after 11 PM, hung out with various people, drank some wine, and went to bed around dawn.
Sunday
Woke up around noon and scrambled to get my things together soursule wouldn't be late for her all-important gaming session. We had to skip breakfast/lunch, but we did get her there in time. I drove back to Cleveland with a box each of books and clothing, and made it here around 8:15 - a new speed record I think.
I wont be allowed back until near her graduation, but of course we are moving in together this summer so we'll see plenty of each other...
