Until I have the moving truck and speed on out of here. Whee. I have so much to do before then.

Accomplished items:

  • All of my books and DVDs are packed

  • Much of the random bits of stuff around my apartment is packed

  • All of my fabric is packed

  • All of [livejournal.com profile] ursule's stuff is packed

  • I've moved my e-mail setup off of my work machine and onto my mailing list server

  • I found out that I don't actually need a new title to sell my car

  • I've found homes for my two bookcases and a bunch of bottles

Still need to do:

  • PACK!

  • Throw out a few metric tons of stuff that doesn't need to come to Seattle with me

  • Get new headlights and and oil change for my car

  • Clean out the car

  • Find homes for my remaining bits of furniture

  • About a billion things at work

So why are you coming to Seattle again? Was it school, or a job, or just for the hell of it?

I am having a great time out here. It's the only place to live, in my opinion. All of the mountains make me very happy :)

Two main reasons:

1) [livejournal.com profile] ursule my girlfriend got into grad school at UW. We've been dating for about 4 years and we're going to move in together.

2) I need to finish my undergrad degree, and don't want to do it at CWRU.

I grew up in Portland, OR, just 3 hours south and I'm very much looking forward to Northwest weather again.

Cheap desk with a hutch
Decent coffee table
Cheap but nice looking dresser
Sofa-sleeper

I still say you're a lucky SoB.

1) You're moving to Seatle. Damnit to hell, I visited that city once, and have been trying to get back ever since! =p

2) You're getting yet farther away from me. =p Blast... now it will be even tougher to convince you to do my bidding. ^_^

Good luck with the packing though. Hopefully it won't be too difficult. I imagin the car will generally be fairly easy to deal with too, just finding the time to actually do it will be the hard part. Now.. work... heh. Sorry!
