ursule and I went camping with her family on Mount Adams Sunday through Tuesday. We stayed in a small campground at Bird Lake, at 5585 feet. The road up there was... unimproved for most of it's path. On Monday, we went on a long hike (about 8 miles long, and we climbed about 1000 vertical feet) to above the treeline and around the mountain to a large lava flow. The entire place was astoundingly pretty, we saw many waterfalls, small lakes, and mountain meadows. We awoke Tuesday to about half an inch of snow over our whole camp, but it slowly melted as the sun came out. Alas I forgot my camera.

Coming up this weekend: Autmn War!. I have to make two banner holders before the event, whee. The war scenarios look weird.
