I didn't think it could come so fast...
This weekend was rather eventful, on Friday
ursule and I drove down to Portland to go to a Halloween party. We arrived quite late, and by the time we got there everyone had taken off their costumes, so I didn't bother putting mine on. Alas, I was going to attend as Murray, the demonic skull. Perhaps next year. The party was fun though, we hung out, ate food, chatted... I got to spend lots of time blabbering about Dark Age of Camelot. Yay.
On Saturday we picked up a futon from my parents, which had been given to them for free, and drove back up to Seattle. We made a brief appearance at an SCA potluck/event thing, which was also amusing. Lots of bread and cheese, mmm.
So this futon. I'm not sure we have it put together right, though it doesn't seem like there's a better way. Instead of the "couch" type of futon that I'm used to seeing, that is, one that's split in the middle and folds down to a bed; this one has three main articulation points.
Currently we have it set up something like this: _/\
The problem is that the flat left part has four little legs that turn on their attachment points and the whole thing sort of falls over. Also the upside-down "V" part doesn't really stay closed, it has a tendency to want to fall flat to a bed-shape. I shall have to take some pictures of it and ask for help from all of you lovely people...
In other news, I finished Max Payne 2 on "Hard Boiled", and am about 1/3 of the way through the game on the highest difficulty level, "Dead on Arrival." Supposedly once I finish that I'll get a different ending.

Some of my friends in college had the type D. is referring to. Swear to god I helped set one up once, but it involved little notches that stuck out the back like on some types of lawn chairs...
