So we received about six inches of snow today. This is highly unusual for Seattle, especially since it is the third time this winter that it has snowed. Generally, Seattle only gets snow once every three years. Oh well, tomorrow it's supposed to be up in the 40s and it will all melt. If it does I'll be going in to work after finalizing my registration stuff for my class (Linear Algebra, yay!), which should be interesting. If the snow is still around I'll be hanging out here, as there's no way I can get my truck out of the lot and up the hill (not to mention down the hill safely) when it's snowy.
Speaking of work, I had a training session yesterday that essentially was just for me. We did a quick overview of networking (nothing new), then talked a bunch about the layout of the school district's network and such. Afterwards I got to tear apart a bunch of Macintoshes, which was entertaining. After about an hour of opening up cases of various models we had a small pile of plastic parts that had broken off off of the Macs. I was really surprised at how flimsly and cheap the plastic they use for their cases was.
